Commenting on news regarding issuance of new 3 manat and 200 manat banknotes at the plenary meeting of the parliament, Rustamov said that there is no need to change structure of national currency consisting of 6 nominal banknotes and 6 nominal coins as a result of analysis of main currency and domestic factors.
CBA Chairman noted citing USD, British Pound, Euro and other currencies as example, there is not other nominal banknote between 1 and 5 nominal banknotes. 2 USD banknote issued in the US before has not been adopted by the economy and community. At the same time, analysis and researches in the spheres of expenditures structure of the population retail settlement indicate that current banknotes are optimal.
