Economic growth in Azerbaijan reaches 5.7%

Production accounted for 64.1% of the GDP, service sector for 29.6%. Production and import tax accounted for 6.3% of the GDP.

GDP in the oil and gas sector increased by 1%, in the non-oil sector by 9.8% compared to the same period of last year.

Industry accounted for 46.3% of GDP, agriculture, forestry and fishery for 5.7%, construction for 12.1%, trade and services on repair of vehicles for 7.3%, transport and storage facilities for 5.2%, placement of tourists and public catering for 2.1%, information and communication for 1.7%, social and other spheres for 13.3%.

In the first 10 months of the year construction grew by 25.2%, placement of tourists ad public catering by 17.9%, trade and services on repair of vehicles by 9.7%, information and communication technologies by 8.5%, transport and storage facilities by 5.6%, agriculture, forestry and fishery by 4.7%, social and other services by 3.8%.
