Baku. Musa Ahmadov – APA-Economics. “Banks covering 99% of bank capital will fulfill requirements of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA)”, said the CBA chairman Elman Rustamov.
According to him, 5-6 banks are forecasted not to fulfill Central Bank’s requirements for capital.
However, Rustamov said that the assets of these banks make 1% of total bank assets. In addition, CBA Chairman said that there is no problem for depositors and clients as these banks don’t have significant personal savings.
Two of them are banks with foreign capital: “We hope that they will take any measure, we are holding talks with them now”.
