BSE turnover rises 57%

Baku. Musa Ahmadov – APA-ECONOMICS. The total volume of transactions for the January-August of 2014 for all securities traded in Baku Stock Exchange was AZN 7,169,285,693, up 57.25% from 2013.

According to BSE, securities market rose 7.04% to AZN 4,039,162,105. the deals in corporative sector soared 3.9 times to AZN 3,130,123,587.

The bonds issued by the Ministry of Finance during 8 months of 2014 dropped 5.75% to AZN 58,557,735. Compared to primary market, the secondary market surged 48.78% to AZN 19,266,344.

Primary market of government bonds slipped 2.3 times, secondary market – by 49.4%. CB notes turnover soared 57.8% to AZN 949.942 mln, including primary market of notes surged 37%, secondary market – 14.5 times%. In general, the government securities market increased 33.1%.

CB short-term notes placement in the primary market fell 44.03% to AZN 123,081,500, in the secondary market grew 6.8 times to AZN 302,813,539. Repo operations stood at AZN 3,535,42,985, up 2.93% from 2013.

Corporate bonds placement in primary market made AZN 1,814,596,643 (growth 21.7 times), in the secondary market made AZN 522,991,485 (growth 31.8%).

AZN 789,443,537 (+2.7 times) of shares were placed in the primary market, AZN 3,091,921 (-78.08%) in the secondary market.
