BSE turnover decreases by 18%

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-ECONOMICS. The total volume of transactions for the January-November of 2013 for all securities traded in Baku Stock Exchange was AZN 7.041bln, down 18.4% from 2012.

According to BSE, corporative securities market rose 41.0% to AZN 1,706.0 mln. Corporate bonds primary market surged 2.9 times to AZN 109.2 mln, secondary market – 73.3% to AZN 564.9 mln. The primary market of shares dropped 0.6%, secondary market rose 38.5% during the reporting period.

Primary market of government bonds slipped 2.3 times, secondary market – by 49.4%. CB notes turnover primary market surged 2.9 times, secondary market fell 3.1 times. At the same time, repo operations declined 18.8% to AZN 5.522 mln.

Government bonds primary market slid 10.0% to AZN 88.7 mln, secondary surged 45.2% to AZN 30.5 mln. In general, the government securities market decreased by 24.2% to AZN 5.965 bln.
