Bank Technique gets 12% rise in assets year-on-year

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of October 1, 2013, Azerbaijan-based Bank Technique’s assets stood at AZN 450.961 mln, up 12.3% from previous year.

Bank says the loan portfolio dropped 6.5% to AZN 311.235 mln. Consumer lending made AZN 74.609 mln, up 8.1% by contrast to a year earlier. At the same time, overdue credits fell 18.2% to AZN 96.134 mln and equity in total loan portfolio dropped 4.4 percentage points to 30.9%.

Deposit portfolio rose 35.8% to AZN 235.505 mln, as well as personal savings were equal to AZN 154.899 mln, up 39.1% in annual comparison.

Total capital made AZN 52.828 mln, including authorized capital surged 9.8% to AZN 75.100 mln. As of October, 2012, the total capital made -23.788 mln AZN.

Number of clients soared 40.5% to 110,585, as well as individuals surged 46.2% to 101,770, juridical persons slipped 17.1% to 5,815. Number of plastic cards made 52,397, up 36.8% in annual comparison. Debit cards increased by 30.0% to 42,523, credit cards – 76.8% to 9,874.

Currently, the bank operates 32 branches, 68 ATMs ad 2,705 POS-terminals across the country.
