Baku hosts World Customs Organization seminar - <span style="color: red;">PHOTOSESSION

APA-Economics reports that sessions on control over trade strategy, significance of strategic goods, international legal frame for strategic trade of the country, role of the customs in control over trade strategy will be held at the seminar.

State Customs Committee chairman Aydin Aliyev said the seminar will last 3 days and it aims to discuss export customs issue. He gave information about SCC’s recent achievements.

Head of the Europe Regional Capacity Building Office of the World Customs Organization Vitaly Mikeladze said holding of regional seminar in Azerbaijan is significant.

According to him, the seminar aims well understanding of dual use commodity types: “Dual use commodity types means that a product can be used for explosives, chemical weapon and civil purposes. Regarding experience, it will be provided by representatives from WCO and trainers the US”.

He noted that 50 representatives from 32 countries are attending the seminar.

WCO expert Jose Hugo Herrman said that this is the second analogical event of eth organization. The first event was held in India two months ago.
