AZN 17 mln paid on compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners since early 2014

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. In August, 2014, AZN 2.3 mln was paid on compulsory insurance civil liability of vehicle owners in Azerbaijan.

Compulsory Insurance Bureau (CIB) told APA that CIB member-companies did AZN 2,301,798 over 1,810 insurance claims on compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners in August.

In August, total loss on damages of 1,735 vehicles amounted to AZN 2,164,340, on damages of 24 properties amounted to AZN 29,408. The Bureau paid AZN 43,050 for damage on health of 38 persons, AZN 65,000 on death of 13 persons.

In January-August, AZN 17.2 mln was paid on compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners.
