Azerbaijan to prepare amendments to law on reinsurance

Baku. Parviz Nuriyev - APA-Economics. Today, Compulsory Insurance Committee of the Azerbaijan Insurers Association (AIA) has held a meeting.

AIA told APA-Economics that the meeting was attended by AIA chairman Orkhan Bayramov, including chairman of abovementioned committee, member of Management Board of Pasha Sigorta Tural Aliyev and other members of the committee.

The participants mainly discussed formation of expert base of Insurance Training Center established in Azerbaijan. It was decided to appeal to the insurance companies for gathering of experts on common principles of insurance, insurance law, management of sale network, customer services and sale techniques, actuary and life insurance. Those experts will participate in the trainings.

After trainings, each expert will develop a training program on his/her own sphere.

Moreover, it was decided to appeal to the Finance Ministry for amendment to the Compulsory Insurance Law on the difference between exceptions in insurance law and international reinsurance sphere.
