Baku. Musa Ahmadov - APA-Economics. Subsistence minimum for next year will be increased 4.8%, said the Head of Department on Analysis and Forecasting of the Ministry of Economy and Industry Jamaladdin Guliyev.
He noted that according to a draft law on subsistence minimum for next year, this index will be increased from AZN 125 to AZN 131 across the country, as well as from AZN 137 to AZN 140 for able-bodied people, AZN 103 to AZN 108 for children and pensioners.
He said that the subsistence minimum has been increased over 5 times since 2001. It was AZN 24.4 in 2001.
