Azerbaijan sees 9% decline in mortgage lending through AMF

Baku. Musa Ahmadov - APA-Economics. As of August 1, 2014, the mortgage loans given through Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund made AZN 66.7 mln, down 9% or AZN 6.6 mln from previous year.

According to Central Bank of Azerbaijan, the AMD refinanced AZN 68.6 mln in January-July, 2014.

Fund did not place bonds in July.

As of August 1, 2014, the loans given by authorized credit organizations made AZN 39,944, average period – 278 months, average interest arte – 6.82%, monthly payment – AZN 318.7.

For comparison to note that the loans given by authorized credit organizations in the same period of 2013 made AZN 42,567, average period – 287 months, average interest arte – 6.36%, monthly payment – AZN 301.5.
