Baku. Musa Ahmadov - APA-Economics. In May 2015, 93,647 contracts were registered on compulsory insurance against civil liabilities of vehicle owners in Azerbaijan, up 1% from previous year.
According to CIB, of this, 14,790 were registered abroad and entered Azerbaijan for transit.
During the same period, the premiums on these contracts amounted to AZN 6.9 mln, up 6% in annual comparison.
In January-May 2015, the number of contracts on compulsory insurance against civil liabilities of vehicle owners made 397,000, up 14.5% from a year earlier. Premiums rose 19.7% to AZN 30.1 mln.
