Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. Gross Domestic Products in Azerbaijan rose 2.8% to AZN 59.0 bln in 2014.
State Statistical Committee says per capita GDP made AZN 6,264.1 ($7,985.9), up 1.5% from 2013.
Country residents produced AZN 87.9 bln-products and services, up AZN 2.8 bln from previous year. Goods and services for production amounted to AZN 28.9 bln.
The value added in non-oil sector rose 7.0%, and its share in GDP increased to 61.0%.
39.0% of GDP was formed in oil and gas sector (-2.9%). 41.5% (AZN 24.5 bln) of value added was produced in industry, 12.5% in construction (AZN 7.4), 5.3% (AZN 3.1 bln) in agriculture, forestry and fishery, 32.5% in service spheres.
33.4% of VAT was formed service spheres, including 7.9% in repair of trade and transportation facilities, 4.5% in transport and storehouse, 2.2% tourist accommodation and catering, 1.8% in information and communication services, 17.0% in social and other spheres.
Net taxes for production and import made 7.3% of GDP.
