Azerbaijan gets 3.4% decline in non-life insurance market

Baku. Parviz Nuriyev - APA-Economics. AZN 156 mln or 73.6% of insurance premiums in January-June, 2014, fell to share of non-life insurance, down AZN 5.5 mln or 3.4% from previous year.

27.3% or AZN 42.6 mln of premiums on non-life insurance came from health insurance, 19.3% or AZN 30.1 mln from compulsory insurance of cars, 11.1% or AZN 17.3 mln from casco, 10.8% or AZN 16.9 mln from property fire insurance, 5.4% or AZN 8.5 mln from real estate.

94.7% or AZN 61.9 mln of payments fell to share of non-life insurance, up AZN 5.8 mln or 10.3% from previous year.

37.2% or AZN 23 mln from payments on non-life insurance went to health insurance, 21.4% or AZN 13.2 mln to casco, 21.4% or AZN 13.2 mln to compulsory insurance of cars, 9.4% or AZN 5.8 mln to property fire insurance, 1.6% or AZN 1 mln to compulsory insurance of real estate.
