Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. In October, 2014, 92,149 vehicles were compulsorily insured in Azerbaijan.
According to Compulsory Insurance Bureau, 19,800 of these vehicles were registered in abroad and entered Azerbaijan for transit.
Insurance premiums on compulsory insurance contracts exceeded AZN 7.4 mln, down 27.2% from previous year. Number of contracts also fell 26.14%.
Totally, over 780,000 insurance contracts were signed on compulsory insurance civil liability of vehicle owners during 10 months and premiums amounted to AZN 59.1 mln.
Insurance contracts rose 0.72%, insurance premiums raised 0.26%.
