Azerbaijan-based non-banking organizations see growth in assets

Baku. Musa Ahmadov – APA-Economics. In January-March, 2014, Azerbaijan-based non-banking organizations’ assets stood at AZN 551.16 mln, up 34.4% or AZN 141.28 mln from previous year.

Central Bank of Azerbaijan told APA-Economics that total authorized capital rose AZN 21.7 mln or 34.6% to AZN 84.44 mln.

Number of branches reached 203.

The Credit Unions in Azerbaijan increased authorized capital by 30.6% to AZN 22.25 mln.

Credit Unions’ assets soared 18% or AZN 8.39 mln to AZN 55.1 mln.

Authorized capital of credit organizations financed by the international humanitarian organizations rose AZN 16.37 mln to AZN 43.48 mln, assets – AZN 127.43 mln to AZN 464.12 mln and number of branches – 87 units to 191.

Other non-banking organizations’ authorized capital made ANZ 18.71 mln, assets AZN 31.94 mln. These organizations operate 12 branches.
