Azerbaijan-based NBCOs see 25.5% rise in assets

Baku. Musa Ahmadov - APA-Economics. In January-September, 2014, Azerbaijan-based non-bank credit organizations’ assets stood at AZN 614.6 mln, up AZN 125.01 mln or 25.5% from previous year.

Central Bank of Azerbaijan told APA-Economics that NBCOs’ total authorized capital rose 15.39% or AZN 11.3 mln to AZN 83.44 mln.

Branches reached 221 from 140.

The authorized capital of credit unions increased 11.5% or AZN 2.38 mln to AZN 23.11 mln.

Credit Unions’ assets soared 11.51% or AZN 6.19 mln to AZN 59.98 mln.

Authorized capital of credit organizations financed by the international humanitarian organizations rose AZN 14.74 mln, assets greew AZN 117.19 mln and branches soared 81 units. In other word, As of October 1, the authorized capital made AZN 47.61 mln, assets AZN 524.87 mln and number of branches 209.

During the reporting period, the authorized capital of other NBCOs made AZN 12.72 mln, while it was AZN 18.71 mln in 2013. Assets of other NBCO’s rose AZN 1.63 mln to AZN 29.75 mln, number of branches remained unchanged at 12.
