Azerbaijan-based NBCOsâ€™ assets exceed AZN 650 mln

Baku. Musa Ahmadov - APA-Economics. In 2014, Azerbaijan-based non-bank credit organizations’ assets stood at AZN 650.6 mln, up AZN 108.47 mln or 20% from previous year.

Central Bank of Azerbaijan told APA-Economics that NBCOs’ total authorized capital rose 7.56% or AZN 6.26 mln to AZN 89.03 mln.

As of January 1, 2015, the branches reached 224 from 194.

The authorized capital of credit unions increased 22% or AZN 4.74 mln to AZN 26.28 mln.

Credit Unions’ assets soared 29.46% or AZN 15.85 mln to AZN 69.65 mln.

Authorized capital of credit organizations financed by the international humanitarian organizations rose AZN 7.5 mln, assets grew AZN 93.17 mln and branches soared 30 units. In other word, As of January 1, the authorized capital made AZN 50.02 mln, assets AZN 550.65 mln and number of branches 212.

During the reporting period, the authorized capital of other NBCOs made AZN 12.72 mln, while it was AZN 18.71 mln in 2013. Assets of other NBCO’s dropped AZN 0.54 mln to AZN 30.31 mln, number of branches remained unchanged at 12.
