Baku. Parviz Nuriyev - APA-Economics. Pasha Insurance headed the market for insurance premiums in January-October, 2014 with AZN 45.6 mln, Azerbaijan Insurers Association told APA-Economics.
The next places were held by Azersigorta with AZN 37.2 mln, Pasha Life Insurance with AZN 35.1 mln, Ateshgah Life – AZN 32.6 mln, AzSigorta – AZN 30.7 mln.
Totally, 51% of market falls to share of first five insurers.
Companies with the lowest insurance premiums are Amrah Insurance (AZN 858,000), Era-Trans (AZN 415,000), Azergarant (AZM 361,000), Gunay Sigorta (AZN 154,000), Chartis Azerbaijan (AZN 152,000) and Royal Sigorta (AZN 2,255). Total premiums of these companies make AZN 1.94 mln (0.5% of total premiums).
Totally, 11 insurers earned premiums over AZN 10 mln, 5 insurers – AZN 5-10 mln, 6 insurers – AZN 1-5 mln, 6 insurers – up to AZN 1 mln. 10 insurers increased premiums, 18 decreased.
