Baku. Musa Ahmadov - APA-Economics. Pasha Insurance headed the market for insurance premiums in 2014 with AZN 50.7 mln, Azerbaijan Insurers Association told APA-Economics.
The next places were held by Pasha Life Insurance with AZN 41.9 mln, Azersigorta with AZN 41.6 mln, Ateshgah Life with AZN 37.9 mln, AzSigorta – AZN 36.7 mln.
Totally, 48.7% (AZN 209 mln) of market falls to share of first five insurers.
Companies with the lowest insurance premiums are Azergarant (AZN 505,000), Era-Trans (AZN 432,000), Gunay Sigorta (AZN 205,000), Chartis Azerbaijan (AZN 152,000) and Royal Sigorta (AZN 2,255). Total premiums of these companies make AZN 1.3 mln (0.3% of total premiums).
Totally, 15 insurers earned premiums over AZN 10 mln, 3 insurers – AZN 5-10 mln, 5 insurers – AZN 1-5 mln, 5 insurers – up to AZN 1 mln. 11 insurers increased premiums, 17 decreased.
