Baku. Musa Ahmadov - APA-Economics. Pasha Insurance headed the market for insurance premiums in January-November, 2014 with AZN 47.1 mln, Azerbaijan Insurers Association told APA-Economics.
The next places were held by Azersigorta with AZN 39 mln, Pasha Life Insurance with AZN 38.3 mln, Ateshgah Life – AZN 35.5 mln, AzSigorta – AZN 33.7 mln.
Totally, 50.6% of market falls to share of first five insurers.
Companies with the lowest insurance premiums are Azergarant (AZN 501,000), Era-Trans (AZN 432,000), Gunay Sigorta (AZN 165,000), Chartis Azerbaijan (AZN 152,000) and Royal Sigorta (AZN 2,255). Total premiums of these companies make AZN 1.25 mln (0.9% of total premiums).
Totally, 14 insurers earned premiums over AZN 10 mln, 2 insurers – AZN 5-10 mln, 6 insurers – AZN 1-5 mln, 6 insurers – up to AZN 1 mln. 11 insurers increased premiums, 17 decreased.
