AGBank increases consumer lending

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of October 1, 2013, Azerbaijan-based AGBank’s assets stood at AZN 435.295 mln, up 27.1% from previous year.

 

Bank says the loan portfolio rose 36.2% to AZN 317.512 mln, as well as consumer lending made AZN 130.289 mln, up 5.0 times from 2012. At the same time, overdue credits dropped 0.8% to AZN 39.027 mln and their share in total loan portfolio dipped 4.6 percentage points to 12.3%.

 

Deposit portfolio increased by 16.9% to AZN 250.862 mln, including personal savings were equal to AZN 210.722 mln, up 16.3% by contrast to a year earlier.

 

Total capital grew 26.3% to AZN 50.924 mln, as well as authorized capital surged 16.3% to AZN 25.000 mln.

 

Number of clients climbed 34.1% to 91,186, as well as individuals increased by 37.7% to 89,888, juridical persons slipped by 2.2 times to 1,298. Plastic cards made 72,541, up 25.2% in annual comparison. Debit cards rose 25.1% to 54,785, credit cards – 27.1% to 17,756.

 

The bank operates 17 branches, 57 ATMs and 792 POS-terminals across the country.
