AFB Bank starts complex usage of licensed software products

Baku. Vahab Rzayev - APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based AFB Bank has signed a cooperation agreement with Microsoft Azerbaijan within Microsoft Open Value program. According to APA-Economics, the Bank will be able to include software products in the computers which it uses.

One of the advantages of chosen licensing variant is that the bank uses new and renewed products and this provides security of AFB Bank’s information system and its improvement in accordance with the global tendencies.

Within the “Get Genuine Windows Agreement” (GGWA) program, the base operation system obtained by the bank is considered one of the important steps for signing this contract. GGWA is a solution for unlicensed Operation System recommended by Microsoft and after obtaining this solution, infrastructure of the customer gets ready to switch to Open Value corporative licensing.
