Baku. Musa Ahmadov - APA-Economics. AZN 110.8 mln or 66.7% of insurance premiums collected in January-April, 2015, came from voluntary insurance types, up 49% from previous year, Azerbaijan Insurers Association told APA-Economics.
Premiums on compulsory insurance types stood at AZN 55.2 mln or 33.3%of market, up 28.7% from previous year.
76.3% or AZN 44.3 mln of payments went to voluntary types, up 40% by contrast to a year earlier. Compulsory insurance payments rose 9.8% to AZN 13.8 mln or 23.7% of total market.
AZN 40 was paid for each AZN 100 insurance premium from voluntary type during the reporting period, while it was AZN 29.7 last year. Payment for each AZN 100 on compulsory insurance type fell to AZN 24.9 from AZN 29.2.
