Pasha Insurance heads insurance market for premiums

Baku. APA-Economics - Musa Ahmadov. Pasha Insurance heads the insurance market for insurance premiums collected in January-April, 2015, said the chairman of Azerbaijan Insurers Association Orkhan Bayramov.

The company collected AZN 32.3 mln during four months. The next places are held by Pasha Life Insurance (AZN 20.2 mln), Ateshgah Insurance (AZN 16.8 mln), Ateshga Life Insurance (AZN 14.7 mln) and Azsigorta (AZN 11.3 mln). Totally, 57.4% of market falls to share of first five companies (AZN 95.3 mln).

The companies with the lesst premiums are Revan Sigorta (AZN 662,000), BAshak Inam (AZN 454,000), Amrah Sigorta (AZ 342,000), Azergarant (AZN 101,000) and Gunay Sigorta (AZN 37,000). Total premiums of these companies made AZN 1.6 mln or 2.8% of insurance premiums.

Generally, 6 insurance companies’ premiums made over AZN 10 mln, 6 companies – AZN 5-10 mln, 7 companies – AZN 1-5 mln, 2 companies AZN 0.5 –1 mln, 6 companies below AZN 500,000. 14 insurers increased premiums, 13 decreased.
