Baku International Banking Conference of CIS countries ends

APA-Economics reports that reports were made on the role of banking sector in the investment in economy, human capital in the banking system and some organizations of the CIS countries made presentations at the event.

Deputy Director of CIS Financial and Banking Council Ahmad Gahramanov spoke about the structure of investments in fixed capital in the CIS countries. He said that people of the CIS countries and Azerbaijan are passive in the investment process. Generally, share of foreign investment is lower, so first of all, measures should be intensified to increase the role of population in the investments.

Chairman of the Human Resources Committee of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Andrei Bespalov spoke about the importance of human capital in the banking system and business. Bespalov noted that salaries and other labor costs account for average about 40-70% of the operating costs and this is a great indicator. Increasing the efficiency of employees and useful management of human resources are extremely important and urgent in this regard.

International Banking Conference of CIS countries is annually held in Baku.
