Azerbaijan sees 4% growth in foreign trade turnover

Baku. Vahab Rzayev - APA-Economics. Azerbaijani residents traded with individuals and juridical persons of 147 countries in January-October, 2013, Azerbaijan exported to 101 countries, 138 countries imported to Azerbaijan.

State Statistical Committee says 29 participants of foreign trade turnover were American, 49 – European, 38 – Asian and other countries.

Foreign trade turnover during 10 months made $36.2bn, up 4.3% from 2012. $27.3bn of the turnover accounted for export, $8.9bn for import, positive balance made up $18.4 bln.

11.6% of trade links were established with CIS countries, 43.1% with EU countries and 45.3% with other countries.
Export of non-oil products rose 9.5% to $1.4bn compared to January-October, 2012. Export of per head non-oil product soared $11.8 to $153.5.
