Azerbaijan and Russia expands tourism cooperation

According to him, Rosneft and SOCAR signed cooperation agreement. Russia’s companies like LUKoil, Rosneft and Gazprom are operating in Azerbaijan.

Russian Minister said that these countries have wide links in cultural relations: “A lot of Azerbaijanis are living in Russia. Summer schools are organized for them in Astrakhan. Russian state supplied them with books and other textbooks”.

Igor Slyunayev said that legal framework is extending between the two countries. According to him, number of tourists is increasing between the two countries: “Number of tourists from Russia to Azerbaijan rose 4-7% and this forum will support it”.

Head of the Department of Public and Political Issues of Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov has read the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s message to the participants at the forum.

Thereafter, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s message was read.

Both presidents congratulated the participants.
