Next year, Ukraine's missile and drone production potential will reach $35 billion, said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on his "X" account, APA reports.
"Since the start of the full-scale occupation, the potential of Ukraine's military industry has increased tenfold. We already produce more than 40% of the weapons we use on the front, either ourselves or together with our partners. Our task is that by the end of the year, at least 50% of the weapons used on the front will be of Ukrainian production. This mission will be fulfilled," Zelenskyy stressed.
The Ukrainian leader said that excess weapons will be exported, and the proceeds will be used to purchase the necessary weapons.
"I have already instructed the government, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, and the President's Office to develop the main components of the export system. The name of this program is "Zbroya". Agreements have been reached on the creation of export-import platforms in Europe, the USA, and the Middle East. It is aimed that these platforms will be operational by the end of the year," the Ukrainian President stated.
