Against the backdrop of attacks on energy facilities by Russia, Ukraine has begun discussing gas imports with its partners, said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a joint press conference with the European Union's high representative Kaja Kallas, APA reports, citing RBC-Ukraine.
According to him, this process requires sufficient financial resources.
“We know where we can buy gas from and we know the price of the blue fuel. We have partners who currently do not require payment for the supply,” the president stated.
Zelenskyy added that the discussion is mainly about partners in Europe, particularly in Norway: “At the same time, these could also be our partners in the Middle East. We know where we can buy gas, but again, the question is where to obtain sufficient financial resources. But we will definitely manage it,” the head of state emphasized.
