UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has been speaking virtually to the self-described coalition of the willing, APA reports citing Sky News.
He says that Ukraine has proposed "some constructive changes" to the peace proposal.
"I do think we are moving in a positive direction and indications today that in large part the majority of the text, Volodymyr is indicating, can be accepted," Starmer says.
The coalition needs to prepare the planning and financing of Ukraine's future armed forces so it could defend itself, the prime minster says.
"I urge colleagues on the call this afternoon to firm up their national commitments, because we need to ensure we have got the most robust capability, the most robust plans, on the table," Starmer adds.
