Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on allies to respond more firmly to Russia’s violation of Poland’s airspace, the Ukrainian leader said during a joint press conference with the President of Finland, APA reports.
According to Zelenskyy, Russia is testing the preparedness and reaction of Ukraine’s allies with this action.
The President of Ukraine has called Russia's drone violations of Poland's airspace a deliberate provocation by the Kremlin.
The Ukrainian leader noted that these actions are aimed at convincing partners not to provide Air Defense systems to Ukraine during the winter season:
“They are demonstrating that they can attack you, so you need Air Defense systems. This is very typical of Putin.”
