Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says that Kyiv lacks funding to make Russia stop lunching drones, APA reports.
"To counter 800 "shaheds” we need 1,600 interceptor drones. One costs €3,000. And to make Russia stop launching 800 “shaheds” we must respond symmetrically. We have our own long-range capabilities, but lack funding. These are fast solutions, needed today because tomorrow theyʼll find another weapon," the president noted on his X account.
On his another post on X account he said Russia-Ukraine summit must be between leaders, not “technical teams”: "The U.S. can push Russia toward dialogue. It can be a leaders’ meeting in any format. The main thing is to stop the killing. We are ready for President Trump’s proposal – trilateral format and then bilateral, or vice versa. But it must be leaders, not “technical teams.”
