Zelenskyy did not rule out possibility of final peace agreement at the end of war

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy did not rule out the possibility of a final peace agreement at the end of the war, said Ukrainian President stated this at a meeting with journalists, APA reports, citing RBC-Ukraine.

He said that security guarantees can be provided even while the war is still ongoing, and this is not related to the signing of a formal peace treaty.

Although the Ukrainian leader emphasized that the "Korean scenario" or other similar options are not being considered, he noted that certain agreements and guarantees may be possible even without a legal conclusion to the war.

The President noted that fierce fighting was taking place in the Kupyansk region, and that the Defense Forces were conducting clearing operations inside the city. Noting that Ukrainian forces had encircled the enemy in the Donetsk region, especially around Dobropillya and Pokrovsk, the Commander-in-Chief said that there were advances in the Sumy direction.

Zelenskyy also said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been hitting Russian oil refineries and military depots in the captured territories with drones, and that these attacks have caused serious disruptions in Russian logistics and airport operations.

Regarding the shooting down of drones in the western regions of Ukraine, Zelenskyy stressed that coordination opportunities are being discussed with Poland and Romania.
