“Peace must be truly reliable. The war must end as soon as possible,” said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky after talks with French President Emmanuel Macron, APA reports, citing “UNIAN”.
“We talked with Emmanuel for several hours. We had time to discuss a large number of details. We paid most of our attention to negotiations on the cessation of the war and security guarantees. At the moment, a lot depends on the activity of each leader. Today we will also talk with other leaders,” Zelensky noted.
“RBC-Ukraine” reported citing French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot that French President Emmanuel Macron, who will pay an official visit to China on December 3, will ask Xi Jinping to influence Russia to help achieve a ceasefire in Ukraine.
