Ukrainian representatives are set to travel to the United States to discuss a plan to end the war and are scheduled to meet with U.S. officials on Friday and Saturday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told journalists, APA reports, citing RBC-Ukraine.
“As for discussing this plan — the 20 points, security guarantees, a reconstruction agreement, all documents, and possible steps — the teams will meet. On Friday and Saturday, our team will be in the United States,” the Ukrainian president said.
He noted that there is not yet a final agreed version of the document, and contact with Donald Trump may be possible once work on the plan is completed.
Earlier, Politico reported that a meeting between U.S. and Russian representatives is expected to take place in Miami over the weekend.
