“After the war with Russia ends, Ukraine could form the backbone of Europe’s unified forces,” said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to journalists, APA reports.
“We have the largest army with real combat experience. The Ukrainian army could become the core of Europe’s unified forces. Several steps are required for this, but at present we do not have the time,” the President said.
Zelensky added that these steps include legal and bureaucratic procedures, as well as the mobilization of financial resources.
“We do not have time for this now, because our focus is on the front line. As soon as the war ends, we will definitely join this structure. What Europe can do now is to prepare the financial foundation,” he emphasized.
