Voter turnout in municipal elections in Georgia is 33.5%, APA's local bureau reports, citing the country's Central Election Commission.

According to information as of 17:00, 1,175,817 voters exercised their right to vote.

As of 15:00, voter turnout in local elections in Georgia is 28.22%, said Natia Ioseliani, the spokesperson for the country's Central Election Commission (CEC), at a briefing, APA's local bureau reports.

According to her, 991,651 voters have participated in the vote so far.

The CEC representative said that the elections are being held in a calm atmosphere and that certain incidents that did not affect the voting process were recorded.
