A delegation of US Congressional staff visited Georgia, APA's local bureau reports, citing the US Embassy in Georgia.
The members of the delegation will hold meetings with Georgian officials and opposition leaders as part of the regional visit.
According to local media, the meetings will be closed to the media.
U.S.-Georgian relations have been tense since the end of 2024. Washington suspended its strategic partnership with Tbilisi on November 30 of that year. The Georgian government has repeatedly stated its readiness to restore the strategic partnership with the US from a clean slate.
