The public movement “United Neutral Georgia,” operating in Georgia, has announced that it has formed as a political party, APA’s local bureau reports, citing a statement issued by the organization.
It was noted that this decision was made against the backdrop of unprecedented pressure on Georgia and the opposition’s activities against the state.
“The founding congress of the party will be held soon, and we will begin preparations for the parliamentary elections,” the statement says.
The movement believes that Georgia should declare a neutral status and refuse to join the European Union, which it describes as morally, politically, and economically degraded.
Note that the public movement “United Neutral Georgia” was established in July of last year. The organization is known for its pro-government stance and anti-Western position.
