Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that he is prepared to leave office once the war with Russia is over, APA reports.
In an interview with Axios, Zelenskyy was asked whether he would ensure elections in Ukraine if Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to a ceasefire. He responded affirmatively, saying “yes.”
“If we end the war, I am ready to go. My goal is to end the war,” the Ukrainian leader said when asked about stepping down after the conflict concludes.
