Ukrainian drones have struck the largest oil and gas terminal in the Black Sea basin, located in the Krasnodar region of Russia, the General Staff of the Ukrainian army posted on the Telegram channel, APA reports.
According to the information, drones of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian army struck the Tamanneftegaz marine oil terminal. As a result of the strike, the equipment elements of the oil filling terminal, the liquefied gas berth and the port infrastructure were damaged, and a large-scale fire started.
The General Staff confirmed that the pipeline, two berths and 1 ship were on fire.
It is reported that the Taman cargo complexes, operated by the Tamanneftegaz company, are one of the largest complexes in the Black Sea region. The total volume of the reservoir park for oil products and liquefied gas exceeds 1 million cubic meters.
