Russia is ready to attack Europe at the beginning of 2027, said the head of Ukraine’s intelligence service, Kyrylo Budanov, APA reports, citing UNIAN.
“Russia initially planned to launch direct aggression against NATO countries by 2030, but has now revised its plans and shortened the timeline to 2027,” Budanov emphasized.
He said he is confident that Moscow has identified the Baltic states as direct targets of military intervention.
According to him, Poland is not included in Russia’s invasion plans and is intended only as a target of attacks within the framework of a military campaign.
“First will be Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. Meanwhile, Putin will not invade Poland. It will only be subjected to attacks,” he added.
