The “Sea Baby” type naval drones of the Security Service of Ukraine have shot down two oil tankers under sanctions, the “KAIROS” and “VIRAT” belonging to the “shadow fleet” of the Russian Federation in the Black Sea, UNIAN wrote, citing sources in the special services, APA reports.
It was reported that the operation was carried out as a result of joint activities of the 13th Main Directorate of Military Counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Navy.
According to the source, the modernized “Sea Baby” naval drones were successfully used against the ships. These drones are capable of covering long distances and are equipped with reinforced warheads.
