Two of the people injured in the attack at a synagogue in the UK have died, APA reports citing BBC.

It is reported that the attacker is also believed to have been killed.

According to the information, the individual was shot by security forces. However, due to unidentified objects on him, it has not been possible to approach his body.

A bomb disposal team has been dispatched to the area.

Four people are injured in a stabbing and ramming attack outside a synagogue in Manchester in northern England, police say, APA reports, citing The Times of Israel.

Greater Manchester Police say one man was shot on the scene at the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue, and that he is believed to have been the attacker.

Police say a member of the public called to report that he witnessed a car being driven toward people outside the synagogue, and that one person had been stabbed.

According to law enforcement, the victims are being treated for wounds as a result of both the stabbing and the vehicle ramming.

Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham tells the BBC that it was a “serious incident” on Middleton Road in Crumpsall, but that it appears to be over.

North West Ambulance Service declares the scene to be a “major incident.”

The incident occurs on Yom Kippur, the Jewish Day of Atonement and the holiest day o the Jewish calendar.
