Türkiye will pay 5.4 billion pounds sterling for 20 Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets it will buy from the UK, APA's Türkiye Bureau reports, citing the Turkish Ministry of National Defense.
The ministry's statement noted that the total cost of the project, including 20 new Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft, mission equipment related to these aircraft, and various types of ammunition, is approximately 5.4 billion pounds sterling.
The statement also stated that work is continuing on the Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft to be supplied from Qatar and Oman to meet the operational needs of the Air Force.
