Pavel Durov, co-founder of the Telegram messenger, has declared that WhatsApp is not secure and claimed that the application has numerous attack possibilities, APA reports.
Durov wrote on the social network that a number of loopholes were discovered during the analysis of WhatsApp's "encryption" mechanism.
According to him, it is unreasonable to believe in the security of WhatsApp in 2026.
Durov noted that the analyses conducted show that the application is open to various attack vectors.
