The report states that two people died in a small plane crash in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
The plane was supposed to land at Bitburg Airport, north of the city of Trier, on the evening of September 14, but contact with it was lost.
In the morning, police and firefighters found the crashed plane and two dead passengers in a field near Flissem. According to police, the identities of the deceased and the cause of the crash are not yet known.
