Operational search and investigative measures are ongoing in Georgia regarding the hexogen explosive material brought into the country from Ukraine, APA's local bureau reports, citing the State Security Service of Georgia (SSS).

According to the information, another secret apartment rented by Denis Zhuravlyov, the accused in the case, in the Gldani district of Tbilisi, was identified and searched.

As a result, computer microcircuits of various sizes, documents, and cash were discovered.

The SSS is studying the specific purpose of the confiscated items.

Recall that on September 11, two Ukrainian citizens were detained for attempting to smuggle 2.4 kilograms of hexogen into Georgia. According to the SSS, the substance was given to the truck driver by officers of Ukrainian special services, and its final destination was Tbilisi.
