By the end of the year, Ukraine will receive USD 5 billion worth of military aid from its allies under the “PURL” support program, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said in an interview with the Spanish newspaper El País, APA reports.
“Extremely important equipment is being supplied to Ukraine. European countries have made significant contributions over the past few years, but there are certain capabilities that only the United States can provide. President Trump has agreed to supply American weapons with the financial support of Canada and European allies,” Rutte said.
According to him, Ukraine is receiving approximately USD 1 billion worth of weapons every month.
